The Minority Business Development Agency Business Center (MBC) is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and operated by the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council (Mid-States MSDC).

The MBC provides strategic business consulting services to minority-owned firms assisting with private and public sector contract sourcing, job creation and retention, and global growth.

“Our goal is to create the foundation for the next generation of $100 million minority-owned firms,” said David A. Hinson, MBDA’s national director. “These Business Centers will be the service delivery providers that will help us reach that goal. The Center operators will be key partners in achieving MBDA’s mission and assisting minority-owned firms as they strive to grow to size, scale and capacity to compete both domestically and internationally.”

Eligibility

To qualify for MBC services, companies must have $1 million or more in annual revenues or be on track for rapid growth, capable of generating significant employment and long term economic growth. Client fees are pro-rated according to company size.
