Bowen intents to submit a proposal in response to the Citizens Energy Group bid event for the realignment of sanitary sewers ahead of the I-69 Section 6 roadwork and Bowen is soliciting quotations from firms that might be interested in working with us on this project. The project is generally located in multiple locations along Indiana S.R. 37 at the I-465 interchange, south to Southport Rd. Exact details of each conflict can be reviewed in the bid documents.
Pursuant to the bid documents, the Project includes federal funding and follows the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises “DBE” program set forth in 49 CFR Parts 23 and 26 as well as the federal contractual requirements set forth in FHWA Form 1273. The Indiana certified DBE goal for this Project is 10%.
Bowen supply and subcontracting opportunities include but are not limited to the following: surveying, erosion control, demolition of vegetation, excavation, aggregate materials, trucking services, concrete ready-mix supply, asphalt services, reinforced concrete pipe supply, precast concrete structures supply, ductile iron and PVC pipe supply, fuel supply, heavy construction equipment rentals, materials testing services, seeding services, mulching services, and electrical services.
